As a respected policy advisor and trusted resource in Washington, Robert Raben initiated this policy breakfast series to bring together thought-leaders, decision-makers, and advocates to discuss the pressing issues of the day. We are pleased to invite you to join Ashley Carson, OWL Executive Director, to discuss the most critical issues facing women over 40 and priorities for addressing those needs. We're ready to talk about Social Security, Pay Equity, Caregiving, Health Care, Labor issues, and more. Come join us for breakfast, and let's find some common ground to work on!

Ashley B. Carson, J.D., is the Executive Director of OWL - The Voice of Midlife and Older Women, founded as the Older Women's League. Ms. Carson leads the policy agenda for an organization that provides a strong and effective voice for the more than 70 million women age 40 and over in America. She has published several Mother's Day Reports during her tenure at OWL, including "Elder Abuse: A Women's Issue" and "End-of-Life Choices: Who Decides?" She works closely with the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations and also co-chairs the Older Women's Economic Security Taskforce for the National Council of Women's Organizations. Additionally, she sits on the Executive Committee of both the Elder Justice Coalition and the National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging in D.C, and is a newly invited member of the National Academy of Social Insurance.
Robert Raben is the founder of The Raben Group, LLC, heading a legislative consulting and lobbying practice that develops strategies to achieve complicated public policy goals. The Raben Group combines "inside the Beltway" experience, insight and access with outside-the-box thinking for clients in the corporate, public and governmental sectors.
