The Institute for Women’s Policy Research and National Council of Women’s Organizations will be holding an event for interns and their colleagues on July 28 at 5 pm. The event, themed “Celebrating the Rising Stars of Washington,” will honor the accomplishments of interns at not-for-profit institutions throughout the city with food, spirits, and fun- on us! The event is open to interns of all ages and will be a valuable and fun networking experience. It will take place at the Stewart R. Mott house.

Directions to the Stewart R. Mott House, located at 122 Maryland Avenue NE:
From Capitol South Station: Head north on 1st St NW (toward C St). Turn right at Constitution Ave NE and make a right on Constitution Ave NW. Turn right at Maryland Ave NE and the Stewart R. Mott House will be on your right.
From Union Station: Turn right onto 1st St NE from Columbus Circle (the taxi pick-up terminal outside of the Union Station Shoppes). Turn left at Constitution Ave NE, and stay on that road until making a right at Maryland Ave NE. The Stewart R. Mott House will be on your right.
