Mission Statement:
The Feminist Caucus of the American Humanist Association was established as a coalition of both women and men within the AHA to work toward the advancement of women's rights and equality between the sexes in all aspects of society.
Subject Expertise:
To further women´s human rights/social justice agendas particularly on: violence against women (CEDAW, UN Security Council Resolution 1325, stronger VAWA, anti-violent and anti- sexualized media representations of women), reproductive rights; peace; freedom from religious opression of women, women´s labor rights, women´s political leadership and equal education funding for girls/women.
