This position is located in the Office of the Secretary, Women's Bureau. This position is that of Regional Administrator and is located in the Denver region, which encompasses Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.  The incumbent is responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of Department of Labor policies and programs to empower all working women to achieve economic security within these states.  The office cooperates with and advises other agencies, Federal, State, and local and provides a channel for access by constituent groups to the government policy making process. The office develops and administers policies and standards to safeguard the interests of working women; to advocate for their equality and economic security for themselves and their families; and to promote quality work environments. This position is that of Regional Administrator. The incumbent manages, plans, directs, and supervises and evaluates the work of entire office.
