Women's Health Task Force

About the NCWO Women's Health Task Force

The Women's Health Task Force exists to help support the work that NCWO member organizations are doing to advance women's health, as well as to promote NCWO's health care policy agenda.

The Task Force is focusing first on increasing women's awareness of cervical cancer risk and expanding women's access to all of the tools now available to help prevent cervical cancer. The Task Force also plans to engage in public education and advocacy on the following high priority issues: obesity, smoking cessation, diabetes, depression, and osteoporosis.

The Women's Health Task Force is co-chaired by Carolyn Jacobson of the Coalition of Labor Union Women and Marilyn Keefe of the National Partnership for Women & Families.
